Ah, now I can support
The project, the building
The school, the purchase, the land

A vernal pool
Rated X, amphibians
Frog, peeper, salamander
Spring sex and land around the pond
the space, the classes,

Middle school hormones and
vertebrates and invertebrates
Conservation Commission
Another Interest group
On board

Written about the excitement that the Barrington Conservation Commission members had at finding out in 2000 that the site the School District planned to buy and use for a new middle school had a vernal pool on the property. In the summer it wasn't much to get excited about; but, hey, everybody's get their thing. They became supporters of the project. The building was dedicated recently - see http://www.barrington.k12.nh.us/MiddleSchool/Middle.html.
