I was swaying, nodding to the words
to the words of the pastors,
different styles, different books, different verses
but oh the richness in the meanings
the truths they were milking, gleaning from
your holy word, the bible, the Word
telling stories of men and women,
how lives were changed, how we are changed
by the saints who went before, who were
faithful stewards of the good news,
faithful followers, disciples for Christ
