bitter radish, salad greens
Tart lemon, juicy fruits
Sour rhubarb, creamy sauces
Raw meat, flaky fish
rich confections
Pungent cheese, cracked open lobster
Tangy barbecue, slippery squid
Salty brine pickles, sugary treats
Burnt toast, charbroiled steak
Spicy jambalaya
Crusty bread, intoxicating spirits
Hot peppers, caramelized onions,
Crunchy vegetables from the garden
sinful desserts, buttery corn on the cob
Earthy fiddleheads
These are tastes of creation.
