bended with the letter to the Colossians
revealing a more human picture
the man who was the Christ
the Messiah, seen through other eyes
a refugee in a foreign land,
King and rebellious child, disobeying his parents,
staying in the temple, without permission
wandering in the wilderness, in the land, without home
a drunkard, a provocateur,
challenger of the order of the day
All images of the Son
for whom and through whom
all was created, the universe begun
the first born, the head of the body,
the church, the good shepherd
and the narrow gate, the way
the living water and
the bread of life
The lamb on the cross
and on his royal throne
waiting with outstretched arms
for us all
