How wonderful to have the peace
to truly heed the call of the psalmist
and let down our loads
to turn them over to God
in this land of self-made men
These words, so true, in every age
by human means we all fail
in God alone can we live at rest
certain of his protection
his strong arms to lean on
His answer to our prayers
his strength to overpower our fears
his love to bring us home
