Life Forevermore by Raymond A. Foss

Hard to fathom, to even begin to comprehend
what the Lord is offering
what life forevermore means
standing, here on this mortal coil.

To walk with the creator
to live eternally, a new creation
reconciled to the king
a member of his family.

No longer stained by my sin
redeemed not by my acts
by the Savior’s grace alone
a servant to the Father
to a death on the cross.

Making me clean by his blood
poured out for you and me;
rising with him Easter morn’;
and sent as he was
by the flames of Pentecost
setting my heart afire.
