In this moment
the crucible of time
Christ turning himself over
giving himself into their hands
consciously offering
his life that we may live

Christ humbly going
to the unjust authority
to death upon the cross
so that God could make good from evil
all part of his heavenly plan

Rising on Easter
the seed rising from the earth
a harvest of souls for the Lord
in him we have
our heavenly birth
